Foreman Crew support

Need help with sign-in, recording, a result, your pay or your account? We help in English, Hindi and Gujarati.

Message us on WhatsApp or call +91 83209 90873. You can send text or a voice note on WhatsApp. A person answers within 2 days.

You can also open Me > Help in the app and choose Report a problem or Make a complaint. Include your Crew ID and the recording or payout you mean, if you know them. Do not put Aadhaar, PAN or bank numbers in a support message.

Sign-in help

Sign in with your own Indian mobile number. We send a 6 digit code on WhatsApp. Check the number and use the latest code. If you cannot get the code or do not use WhatsApp, call us.

Who can take part?

You must be 18 or older and do skilled work in India, such as machining, engineering, electronics repair, jewellery, fine hand work or heavy industry. We ask you to read or listen to our written agreement and sign it before recording. The app and agreement are in English, Hindi and Gujarati.

Record only real work you already do. Use your own workplace, a partner site or a workplace where the owner agrees. A task shows its rate and the mount it needs before you start.

What is an accepted hour?

An hour is 60 minutes of eligible footage. For Client Tasks, only time the buyer accepts against the task requirements counts toward payment. For Marketplace Tasks, only previously unpaid footage that sells counts toward payment. Passing our quality checks alone does not make either type payable. Each task explains its quality requirements and how eligible time is counted before you record.

Skilled and rare tasks pay more. Your 5 minute test adds to your pay when it passes.

If a Foreman app or server fault loses or corrupts a recording, we pay for verified lost working time at the task rate within 7 calendar days after confirming the loss, even if no buyer pays. Idle time, deliberate misuse and recordings you delete are not covered. If recovered footage later sells, this compensation counts towards the one-time fee for that same time; any remaining balance follows the usual payment conditions. We never reclaim compensation because footage sells for less or never sells, or deduct it from other recordings. You pay nothing to take part. If anyone asks for money or a share of your pay, call us.

When do I get paid?

For Client Tasks, pay becomes payable when the buyer has accepted the footage and we receive the corresponding buyer funds. For Marketplace Tasks, pay becomes payable when the footage sells and we receive the corresponding buyer funds. We pay each payable amount into your own verified payout account within 7 calendar days. A quality check alone does not start that clock. A sale or buyer payment date is not guaranteed.

If a buyer pays in instalments, we release contributor pay in the same proportion as the buyer payment received for that footage. The remaining contributor amount becomes payable as the remaining corresponding buyer funds arrive. Each released amount is paid within 7 calendar days. The full fixed contributor amount is paid only once for that portion of footage.

If we refund a buyer after paying you, we bear that cost and do not reclaim your payment unless contributor fraud is proven. A buyer refund alone is not evidence of fraud.

Open Money to see accepted earnings, anything being checked or on hold, and payments. Open a payout for its status and bank reference. If a payout needs attention, the app explains why. Keep your payout details correct and contact us if you need help.

If a payment fails, the amount returns to what we owe you. Contact us if a payout does not arrive or the details look wrong.

Our own staff help workers without a payout account and record any payment they make with a receipt. Coordinators do not handle your pay or take a share of it.

Your fixed contributor payment covers the eligible footage and the agreed rights to use it. It is not a wage. Each eligible portion is paid once, including through instalments where applicable. Later sales of that same portion do not create another payment.

Why does some time not count?

Open the recording in Checks. We show accepted time, time that does not count, the reason and a tip. If you think we get it wrong, choose Ask a person to look again. A person checks within 2 days.

Our checks assess recording quality. Client Tasks require buyer acceptance; Marketplace Tasks require a sale. Pay becomes payable only after the corresponding buyer funds arrive. Your owner or supervisor never sees your video or results. The checks do not judge how good a worker you are.

Recording and uploads

Use the head or chest mount that the task allows. Keep your hands and the work in view. Safety gear comes first. Record no more than 4 hours a day and take breaks.

Pause before removing the phone or when another person comes close. Never record near children, in washrooms or changing rooms, during meals or prayer, or in first-aid rooms. Keep customers, private screens and papers out of view.

If the camera does not open, check the app's camera permission in your phone's Settings. If the phone gets hot, take a break, keep it out of the sun and do not charge it while wearing it on your head.

Uploads use Wi-Fi unless you choose mobile data in Settings. An hour of video uses about 3.6 GB. Open Uploads to see what is waiting or sending. You can delete a recording before sending it.

Who uses my recording?

We sell or license video and its movement data to companies in India and other countries that build AI and robots. They use it to teach machines how people do real work. We record no sound and never use the microphone.

Our team checks the video and blurs faces before sharing it with buyers. Buyers receive a code number, not your name, phone number or payout details. Someone who knows you may still recognise your hands or how you work.

Before a sale, we may prepare footage and show controlled previews to prospective buyers for evaluation only. Training use by us or buyers starts only for footage covered by a sale and the corresponding buyer payment.

Read Crew privacy for the information we collect and the limits on deleting video already sold.

Stop recording and remove your video

Open Me > Your agreement > Stop and remove my video. You can also tell our own staff, WhatsApp us or call us. We stop recording you at once. Stopping does not cancel payment already payable or later instalments due under an existing paid sale or buyer-accepted Client Task. The task payment conditions still apply. Your account stays open so you can see your pay.

We delete unsold video and original recordings we hold within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep. Within 7 days, we notify buyers of your withdrawal and ask them to stop using and delete the footage. We cannot guarantee retrieval of every copy or reverse AI training already completed; applicable privacy rights still apply.

Delete your account

In the app, open Me > Delete account. Review your pending pay and recordings, then press and hold to confirm.

Without the app, message us on WhatsApp or call +91 83209 90873 and say, "Please delete my Foreman Crew account." Give your Crew ID if you know it. You do not need to reinstall the app to ask.

We settle earned pay and check pending recordings for pay that counts. We delete your account and stop recordings. Unsent recordings are deleted from your phone. Unsold video and originals we hold are deleted within 30 days, except for legally required records. We ask existing buyers within 7 days to stop using and delete footage, but cannot take back video already sold or reverse AI learning.

We keep pay records for 8 years and your agreement while we hold or sell your video and for 8 years after. Some fraud, delivery, tax and support records have their own retention periods. Crew privacy explains those periods. Records kept only because of law stay locked and unused.

Make a complaint

You can complain about pay, pressure to take part, privacy or how we treat you. Open Me > Help > Make a complaint, WhatsApp us or call us.

You do not have to give your name. We see the number you use and keep it private. We never give your name to your owner or supervisor. A person answers within 2 days and we settle complaints within 30 days.

Our Grievance Officer is Dharit Gabani.

You can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
