DEPLOYMENT / FOREMAN CONNECT
On-premises detection.
Connected intelligence.
Foreman Connect processes your camera feeds on a computer at your premises. Your existing recorder keeps doing its job.
Detection runs on your site. The second check and alerts run in our cloud. Here’s how the parts fit together.
Follow the data01 / THE DATA FLOW
Know what runs where.
AT YOUR SITE
Cameras → Connect
Compatible cameras and recorders feed video to your site computer. Local detectors look for candidate events; your DVR or NVR continues recording independently.
Camera access and first-stage detection happen on your local network.
FOREMAN CLOUD
Verify → Review → Notify
Event images, clips, and metadata are sent over HTTPS for cloud verification and review. The Foreman App brings camera status, evidence, and alerts together.
Cloud services require an internet connection.
During normal monitoring
Detection runs locally. We receive event photos and clips, camera status, and a small preview photo of each camera every few minutes. Your cameras are not streamed to the cloud around the clock.
When you request remote live view
Video from the selected camera is transmitted for that live-view session. Live view is a separate data flow from event-based monitoring.
02 / GETTING READY
Start with your site.
Plan around its needs.
We check camera compatibility and the host computer before sizing a deployment. Capacity depends on your feeds, hardware, and monitoring tasks.
