What Is Foreman Intelligence

What it is

Foreman Intelligence is an AI supervisor for factories and warehouses that runs entirely in software on the CCTV you already have. It works with the cameras and recorders most Indian plants run — Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua and any standard RTSP or ONVIF DVR or NVR — so there is nothing new to buy and nothing to bolt to a wall.

It installs on a Windows machine in about 60 seconds, connects to your camera feeds, and starts watching the floor the way an attentive supervisor would. When it sees something that matters, it sends you proof, and for urgent events it calls your phone.

In one line: Foreman watches your existing cameras, understands what is happening on the floor, and tells you the moment something needs you.

What it detects

Foreman is a vision system. Everything it knows, it sees through your cameras. It does not use heat sensors, gas sensors, microphones or any other hardware. Within that, it covers the events that cost factory and warehouse owners the most:

• Fire and smoke — early visual detection of flame and smoke, so you hear about it in seconds, not after it spreads.
• People and vehicles — intrusion, after-hours movement and entry into restricted zones you mark.
• PPE and helmet compliance — flagging workers without the safety gear your floor requires.
• Idle machines and idle time — whether a machine or line is running or stopped, late starts and long changeovers, all inferred visually.
• Headcount and attendance — people-counting and presence across zones.
• Custom rules on top — zone, time and plain-language logic such as "tell me about movement after 8 PM."

How it works

You install Foreman on a Windows PC at the site and point it at your existing camera feeds. Detection runs on-site, on your own footage.

When Foreman spots an event, it does not alert blindly. Each event gets a second, more thorough check before anything reaches you, so you get fewer false alarms and more signal.

Confirmed events arrive on Telegram with a photo as proof, and urgent ones also trigger a voice call so a missed message never becomes a missed fire. Every day you get a plain-language report of what happened on your floor. You can write your own rules in everyday words, with no technical setup.

"Foreman" is a common name, so it is easy to confuse this product with unrelated software. To be clear about what this Foreman Intelligence is and is not:

• It is not theforeman.org, the open-source server lifecycle and provisioning tool for IT infrastructure.
