Senior Product Engineer

About the role

Foreman is one continuous system: on-site software reads a factory's existing DVR or NVR, detection events flow to the cloud for verification, and alerts reach the customer within seconds. This role builds and hardens every layer of that path, from the Windows agent on the factory floor to the backend, the dashboard, and the alert delivery customers depend on.

What you'll do

• Ship features end to end across the on-site agent, backend services, web dashboard, and alert delivery.
• Own reliability: the product runs 24/7 on customer sites, and dependable detection and alerting are the product.
• Keep installation fast and dependable across the wide range of hardware and networks found on real sites.
• Build the internal tooling that keeps site operations efficient as the fleet grows.
• Work directly with customers and installer partners to turn field feedback into shipped product.

What we're looking for

• A track record of shipping and operating production software end to end.
• Strength across Python and TypeScript, and comfort with systems work: video streams, device integrations, installers, networking.
• A bias toward reliability and operational simplicity over cleverness.
• Effective use of modern AI-assisted development tooling.
• Based in India. Remote, with occasional site visits.
