Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This policy explains how Foreman, a product of Superneural Technologies Private Limited, handles data. There are two layers: data we control (our website and your account), and your camera footage, which belongs to you, the factory, as its controller.

1. Two layers of data

Our data: when you visit our website or hold a Foreman account, Superneural Technologies Private Limited of Surat, Gujarat, India is the data fiduciary (controller) for basic data about you, covered by this policy.

Your camera data: your factory’s cameras film your premises, employees, and visitors. You are the controller of that footage, it is your responsibility to give the notices/consent the law requires to the people on your cameras (see our Acceptable Use Policy). Foreman acts as your processor and only handles that footage on your instructions.

2. What we collect

  • Website & leads: name, phone, city, business details you submit, and basic analytics.
  • Account & billing: your contact details, camera configuration, and payment information (processed by our payment provider).
  • Camera data (on your behalf): event photos, short clips and detection details when an event is detected; a small preview photo of each camera every few minutes, so the app can show it is working; live video while you have a live view open; and, on the first night after setup, a few stills from past recordings for your history report.
  • The Foreman app: your sign-in details, your phone’s notification address so we can send you alerts, and crash reports (what went wrong, the app version and the phone’s system version). If you sign in with Apple, we get the name and email Apple shares, which may be a private relay address. The app has no ads and doesn’t track you across other apps or websites.

3. How camera footage is handled

  • Your DVR keeps recording exactly as today. Foreman is never your recorder, and your recordings stay on your premises. What we receive from your cameras is listed in section 2.
  • Event media is encrypted and stored with our cloud providers, who may process it outside India, including in the United States. It is auto-deleted after 30 days.
  • We do not use facial recognition or identify people.
  • We do not use your footage to train our AI models.

4. Why we process data

To provide and improve the service, send you alerts, manage your account and billing, provide support, keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations. We process camera data only to detect events and notify you.

5. Sub-processors and security

We use a small number of trusted sub-processors (for cloud hosting, storage, messaging, AI processing, sign-in, error tracking, and app store payments) to run the service; a current list is available on request. We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and audit logging.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, from Settings in the Foreman app, or by writing to us. For footage of people on your cameras, requests are handled through you as the controller. To exercise a right or raise a grievance, contact our grievance officer at privacy@foremanintelligence.com or on +91 93281 12957.

7. Retention, cookies, children, changes

We keep account data for as long as your account is active and as the law requires; event media auto-deletes after 30 days. Our website uses essential cookies and privacy-friendly usage analytics (page views and product-usage events; no ad trackers, no selling of data). Foreman is not intended for use involving children’s data, and you must not point cameras to track minors. We may update this policy; material changes will be notified.
