Foreman

Foreman / idle machine monitoring

See idle machines and late starts, from the cameras you already have

A machine that stops quietly, a line that starts twenty minutes late, a changeover that drags. We set up running-and-stopped tracking for the machines and lines your cameras can see, configured for your layout, with nothing wired into your equipment.

01

The losses nobody reports

A stopped machine rarely announces itself. A line starts late after the break. A ten-minute changeover takes forty. A station sits idle until someone notices. None of it appears in any report. It just takes a little output from every shift.

We make that visible. For each machine or line your cameras cover, we track through the day whether it is running or stopped, and tell you when it stays idle longer than it should.

  • Unexpected idle time on machines and lines
  • Late starts after breaks and shift changes
  • Long changeovers and stoppages
  • The whole day summarised in one report

02

How it works

We read running and stopped from the camera, not from sensors. Our own AI models, trained in-house, recognise what a working station looks like: parts moving, the line in motion, an operator at work. When that activity stops and stays stopped, the machine is marked idle.

Every machine and camera angle is different, so we set this up with you. Tell us which machines and lines matter and which cameras see them, and we configure the tracking for your site. Nothing is retrofitted onto old or mixed equipment.

03

What you get

A daily summary and a weekly PDF report: which machines ran, where idle time built up, late starts and long stoppages. Over a few weeks the pattern shows, the station that always starts slow, the changeover that always overruns.

You can set rules in plain words, for example tell me if Line 2 is still down after fifteen minutes, and get a Telegram message with a photo, the camera and the time when it happens. You can also ask Foreman what happened on a line, in the app or on Telegram.

  • Daily summary and weekly PDF report of running and idle time
  • Rules in plain words for the stoppages you care about
  • Telegram alerts with photo evidence
  • 60-second install on a computer at your site, no sensors, no new hardware

Pricing

₹400 per camera per month, four cameras minimum. Idle-machine tracking is set up for your site once we have looked at your cameras and layout together. The point is not to police your team. It is to give you the full value of every shift you already pay for.

Questions

Questions, answered.

How do you know a machine is idle?

We read it from the camera, not from any sensor on the machine. Our models learn what an active station looks like (parts moving, the line in motion, an operator at work) and track that through the day. When activity stops and stays stopped longer than expected, the machine is marked idle.

Which machines and lines can it watch?

Any machine or line a camera can see clearly: lathes, presses, conveyors, packing stations, assembly lines, old or new. We set up the tracking with you for the machines that matter and the cameras that cover them.

Is it on as soon as I install?

Fire and smoke, after-hours intrusion and camera tampering run from the start. Idle-machine tracking is configured for your cameras and layout with our team.

Does this need sensors or new hardware?

No. Our software installs on a computer at your site in 60 seconds and reads your existing cameras. No sensors on equipment, no PLC integration, no new cameras.
