Foreman Connect

Connect runs on a computer at your site and installs in 60 seconds. It finds compatible cameras and recorders on your local network, checks their video streams, and connects them to your Foreman account. No new hardware.

• A Windows PC on the same network as your cameras.
• A compatible DVR, NVR or IP camera and its login details.
• An internet connection and a pairing code from the Foreman app.

Connect processes camera video on a PC at your premises, where our own AI models, trained in-house, find possible events. Photos and short clips of those events go to our cloud service, where a second, larger model checks each one before it reaches you. Connect also sends a small preview photo of each camera every few minutes, so the app shows it is working. Your recordings stay on your DVR or NVR.

Detection runs on site. The second check, alerts, reports and the Foreman app run in our cloud, so the PC needs an internet connection.

First, create a site in the Foreman app and get your pairing code. Download Connect on the site PC, pair it with your account, and follow the camera setup steps. Keep that PC running, and we watch your cameras from there.

Connect works with Hikvision and Prama, Dahua, CP Plus, TVT, Uniview, Axis, Hanwha and any standard RTSP or ONVIF camera, DVR or NVR. Compatibility depends on the device, its settings, and whether a usable video stream is available. Want us to check your setup first? Talk to us.
