Foreman

Foreman / Kolhapur

Fire belongs in a Kolhapur furnace. Anywhere else, you get a photo in seconds.

Kolhapur casts for the country: foundries and casting units around Shiroli and Gokul Shirgaon, machine shops finishing those castings, and engineering units supplying auto and pump lines. Scrap, patterns, finished castings and tooling sit in yards and stores under cameras nobody watches. We watch them, and tell you on Telegram, with a photo, when something needs you. Free 7-day trial on up to 32 cameras, no card.

01

Built for Kolhapur's foundry belt

A foundry is a business of heavy, valuable, portable things: scrap in the yard, patterns in the store, castings machined and unmachined stacked by the gate. The furnace runs its own hours, heats and pours do not wait for daylight, and between shifts the whole compound sits unmanned with lakhs of metal in the open.

Losses are usually found the next morning, on playback, after the scrap yard is lighter or the store is short. We watch every camera continuously and tell you what we notice while you can still act.

  • Software only, on the DVR and cameras you already own
  • Covers scrap yards, pattern stores, machine shops and gates
  • Telegram alerts with a photo, and a voice call for urgent events
  • Built for foundry conditions: heat shimmer, dust, smoke and low light

02

Fire warning where heat is the whole business

A foundry lives with fire on purpose, which is exactly why an unplanned one is easy to miss until it is big. Wooden pattern stores, oil-soaked machine shops, cable runs, LPG and fuel storage, and packing areas all burn the ordinary way: fast and quietly, often hours after the last pour.

On the cameras away from the furnaces, we look for the first visible smoke and flame and alert you in seconds with a photo, while it is still one corner of one store.

  • Visual smoke and flame detection, day and night
  • Watches pattern stores, machine shops, fuel storage and packing areas

03

Scrap after hours and idle machines

Scrap and castings are among the easiest theft in industry: heavy enough to need a vehicle, anonymous enough to sell anywhere. We know when your compound should be empty and flag any person or vehicle near the scrap yard, stores or gate. The rule is a sentence you write, for example: "send me a photo right away if anyone enters the scrap yard at night."

For the late-starting lathe or the machining line idle since the tea break, idle-machine tracking is set up with you for the machines you choose.

  • After-hours intrusion alerts around scrap yards, stores and gates
  • Idle-machine tracking on the lathes and lines you pick
  • A daily summary and a weekly PDF report

Questions

Questions, answered.

Will Foreman work on my existing DVR, or do I need new cameras?

We work with the cameras you already have. Hikvision, Prama, CP Plus and Dahua connect directly, and any standard RTSP or ONVIF DVR or NVR works too. No new cameras, no rewiring.

A foundry is full of heat and smoke. Will it keep raising false alarms?

That is what setup is for. We choose with you which cameras watch for fire, leaving out the ones pointed at furnaces. Our own AI models are trained in-house, and a second, larger model checks every event before an alert goes out.

Is this a replacement for my fire alarm?

No. We only see what your cameras see: the visible signs of smoke and flame. We are not a heat or smoke sensor, so keep your certified fire-safety systems; we add an early visual warning on top.

Can it watch my scrap yard at night?

Yes. After-hours alerts for any person or vehicle in the scrap yard, stores or gate area are part of the standard set, each with a photo.

What does it cost for a typical Kolhapur unit?

₹400 per camera per month, four cameras minimum (₹1,600 a month), plus GST. A 16-camera unit pays ₹6,400 a month, and annual prepay gets two months free. Start with the free 7-day trial on up to 32 cameras, no card.

Where does my video go?

Detection runs at your unit, so your recordings stay on site. We send event photos and clips, a small preview photo of each camera every few minutes, and live video only when you open it. Clips are deleted after 30 days. We never sell your data and never train on your footage.
