Try ForemanA number-plate register that fills itself
We set up number-plate reading on your existing gate camera, configured for its angle and lighting, and keep a timestamped log of which vehicles came and went and when. No guard writing in a book, no missing entries.
01
Beyond the handwritten register
A paper register is only as good as the person holding the pen. Entries get skipped on a busy shift, plates get copied wrong, pages go missing, and when you need to know which truck was on site at 2 PM last Tuesday, nobody can say.
With plate reading set up at your gate, every vehicle in or out is logged by its plate with the exact time. When a dispute or a delivery question comes up, the record is already there.
- Entries and exits logged with the plate and the time
- A record that does not depend on anyone remembering to write
- Each entry backed by a photo
02
How we set it up with you
Our software installs on a computer at your site in 60 seconds and connects to your current gate camera. Plate reading depends on where the camera sits, how vehicles approach and the light at different hours, so we look at your gate with you and configure reading for that camera.
Once running, we read the plate from the camera image as a vehicle passes and write it to a timestamped register. Pair it with dispatch logging to tie a plate to the load it carried.
- Works with your existing Hikvision and Prama, Dahua, CP Plus or any RTSP or ONVIF camera
- Configured for your gate camera's angle and lighting
- Reads the plate from the camera and logs it with the time
- Pair with dispatch logging to match vehicles to loads
03
Our own models
Plates are read by our own AI models. During setup we check your gate camera's angle and lighting, so you know what to expect before you rely on the register.
04
What changes for you
Fewer arguments over which vehicle was where and when. Faster answers when a customer asks about a dispatch. A guard who can watch the gate instead of writing in a book, and a record that holds up when you look back.
Questions
Questions, answered.
Which conditions does it read best in?
Clean, well-lit plates seen squarely as the vehicle slows at the gate, which is what most gate cameras see. Heavy mud, glare, sharp angles, fast vehicles or damaged plates make any plate harder to read. During setup we check your gate camera, angle and lighting so you know what to expect.
Does it read Indian number plates?
Yes. It reads Indian number plates, and during setup we check your gate camera's angle and lighting so you know what to expect.
Is it on as soon as I install?
No. Number-plate reading is set up with our team for your gate camera. Fire and smoke, after-hours intrusion and camera tampering run from the start.
Does this replace the guard?
It replaces the writing, not the guard. Your guard still runs the gate, checks documents and makes the judgement calls. The register keeps itself.
Do I need new cameras or hardware at the gate?
Usually no. We work with your current gate camera. If its angle or lighting makes plates hard to read, we will tell you during setup.
